New Website!
We created this website as a means to get the word out about our Lego stores and to promote some of the stuff we can't post about on our BrickLink and BrickOwl stores (such as employment opportunities, creations by our community, about our staff, etc.).
**Our other hope is that by publishing this site we can effectively promote how you can get parts for sets, MOC's, and other projects.**
Our story starts at the very beginning. About 4-5 years ago when we were trying to locate a few lost pieces from one of my dad's Lego sets which had gone missing years prior (or just came without the parts when he bought it from the seller off eBay).
As we all know, there are HUGE seller sites like Amazon, eBay, and Facebook (Facebook Marketplace) that do sell Lego but you're often forced to pay higher prices and/or in larger quantities than you really need. One day we stumbled across a site called Toypro which sells Lego by the piece but (at least back then) their supplies were often limited and the price was often higher than we wanted to pay. To be fair, I haven't revisited the Toypro site and looked in-depth at their prices and stock in quite a while, so things may have changed. We bought half of the replacement parts from Toypro (and later ended up buying the last missing part from a local Bricks & Minifigs in Boise) but the Toypro website had already started a search of sorts and later we found Brickowl.com. Brickowl.com is a marketplace where individuals can open up a store to sell their Lego parts, minifigures, and sets. Once we found this site, we liked it very much, placing a few orders ourselves.
Few years later in 2022, we started our own Lego store on a site called BrickLink. BrickLink is a marketplace much like BrickOwl but with a few differences (which I won't get into now). When we started, we had a very limited stock (under 1,000 lots) and orders were non-existent for the first few weeks. We worked tirelessly at inventorying our Lego and soon we got our first sale for one small white husky dog and soon more orders followed.
Fast forward to today we now have over 8,000 lots in our inventory and orders are pretty steady (about 3-5 per week). We hope to (at some point hire) contractors to sort our Lego for us so we can concentrate on inventory and order processing to become more efficient in our efforts.
